From March 2018 onwards, 160 authorized Training Partners and 385 approved Training Centres will begin implementing the Program. 41,991 applicants have been enrolled as of December 2019, with 39,150 applicants finishing the training.
ii) Sankalp:
TNSDC was founded to give demand-based and industry-applicable talents to the young to increase their employability and transform Tamil Nadu into India’s talent centre.
Industries, industrial organisations, training partners, sector skill councils, and assessment agencies are among the stakeholder groups TNSDC hopes to integrate. It is the nodal agency for skill development-related activities in the state and other state and central government entities.
TNSDC works to provide placement-oriented quality skill training by empanelling private and government training partners. World Bank financing and Central and State contributions in the 60:40 ratio are being sought to execute the project.
The funds’ two components are System Strengthening Grant and Inclusion Grant. Under the SANKALP project for Aspirational Districts (i.e. Those with Skill Challenges), a feasibility study to identify skill challenges in aspirational districts has been approved.

i) Short-Term Skill Training:
