How To Register For MAHADBT?

From the academic session 2018-19 onwards, an Aadhaar number is mandatory to apply for any scholarship scheme through the portal.

• Step 1: First, the applicant needs to visit the official home page/website, i.e.  https://mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in/home/index

• Step 2: Click on the scholarship you want to apply for and then click “New Applicant Registration” to register yourself.

• Step 3: Provide the required information and register.
• Step 4: The applicants must verify their email id and mobile number to complete the registration. Click on ‘Get OTP for Email ID Verification’ for email verification and ‘Get OTP for Mobile Number Verification’ for mobile number verification.

Note: Both email id and mobile number verification are mandatory.

• Step 5: Once registered, log in using the registered email id and password.

• Step 6: After successful MAHADBT login, provide the information of your Aadhaar number and proceed.
• Step 7: The applicants are required to authenticate their Aadhaar numbers. There are two types of authentication available.

1. OTP – If the applicant’s mobile number is registered with Aadhaar, then they can choose the authentication type- OTP
2. Biometric – They can choose Biometric authentication if the mobile number is not registered with Aadhaar.

• Step 8: Enter the Aadhaar number and click the “Send OTP” button. The system validates the aadhaar number and sends the system-generated “OTP” to the registered mobile number.
• Enter the OTP and click on the “OK” button. After the successful OTP verification, the applicant details fetched from UIDAI will be auto-populated in the personal information, address details, bank details, etc.

• Step 9: Now, the applicants can see the dashboard with available scholarships listed on it.

• Step 10: Select the scholarship you want to apply for and click the “Apply” button to start a new application.
• Step 11: Complete the profile by providing all necessary information.
• Step 12: Once the profile is updated, the applicants can go to the “All Schemes” section and search for the scholarship they would like to apply for under the departments in the MAHADBT portal.
• Step 13:  A list of suggested scholarship schemes will appear. Select the scholarship to apply for.
• Step 14: An application form will appear. Fill in all necessary details and upload all supporting documents (if you still need to upload them).
