The Assam Skill Development Mission (ASDM) was established in 2015 and is a part of the State of Assam’s newly established Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship Department (SEED). The Mission began operating in January 2017 as the State’s central organization for all skill-building efforts to meet the year’s 1.50 lakh youth skilling target.

Objectives Of Assam Skill Development Mission:
The Assam Skill Development Mission’s primary goals are:
- Establishing the State’s annual and long-term skilling goals.

- To build new academic, training, and research institutions or to network with existing ones at the national and State levels to get technical resource support.

Duration: 1 year
Course Objective: This course provides trainees with the skills and knowledge of the following:
- To carry out the services in salons and spas such as a beauty therapist, spa therapist, manicurist/ pedicurist, and nail artist.

- To conduct client consultation, handle salon operations, perform inventory control, handle payment, and display merchandise to satisfy the customer

Internship:
One month of industrial training is required to gain practical experience in the beauty industry at all major salons and spas. To further grasp the working practices of the sector, the exercise would involve working on a live project.
The trainee would keep a weekly journal of the job the intern did. The weekly log should also include comments from the organization’s manager or supervisor. After the internship, they would turn in a project report.
Eligibility:

2. Course-Food & Beverage Chamberlain:
